Maintenance Electrician
Renishaw are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician to support our various local sites.
The key outputs and deliverables of the role are as follows:
- Reactive response to electrical & security system breakdowns
- Planned installation work
- PAT Testing
- Inspection and testing of fixed wire installations
- Processing of job requests using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Qualifications and expertise:
All applicants are required to have the following:
- Extensive practical expertise in installation wiring for 240v and 415v supplies and fault finding
- City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2
- IEE wiring Regulations 16th Edition
- A good level of computer literacy
- Clean driving licence
Although not essential, it is desirable if applicants have the following:
- IEE wiring Regulations 17th Edition
- Use of CMMS
- Level 3 certificate in Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations
Person specification:
The successful applicant will have good communication and problem solving skills and be able to demonstrate they have excellent attention to detail. They will be self-motivated and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team. Adherence to safe working practices is also vital.
Location:
The position is likely to be based at the New Mills site, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire. However, it will be necessary to work from other sites within a 15 mile radius from time to time as required.
