About NC3
The NC3 is a compact 2 axis non-contact tool setting probe, with broken tool detection capability.
Tools as small as Ø0.2 mm can be measured anywhere along the laser beam and set-up is more simple than focused laser systems as there is no focal point to identify.
The NC3 offers high repeatability, low air consumption and a rapid tool-breakage detection cycle.
The NCi-4 interface is required for use with NC3 and other non-contact tool setting systems. The NC3 is operated using Renishaw's macro-based non-contact tool setting software.
